Damika spent more than a decade mentoring youth and is respected as a leading authority trailblazer in the fields of women empowerment, youth development, and life enhancement in her community. Through groundbreaking research and life-changing work with women and girls, she passionately inspires excellence, healthy behaviors, self-empowerment, and personal growth in the lives of all people.
Damika is certified in the mental health/substance field. She obtains her degrees in political science, public health, biblical counseling, and adult education with leadership development and training. Damika believes in lifelong education, and she will continue to obtain knowledge and skills that will help her matriculate in this field of empowering our youth.

As the CEO of D.E.W Girl Power, I possess a passion for social justice and empowerment for women and girls. I am honored to be a founder and lifetime supporter of D.E.W Girl Power and advocate for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Awareness. These wonderful young ladies and gentlemen, their families, mentors, clients, and volunteers are all family to me. I’m amazed by the positive attitudes, perseverance, and grace that are expressed during meetings, events, and programs. "We are not just a mentoring club but we empower women and men to matriculate into becoming business owners and leaders of this world."
